Two arrested in jewelry store heist
Two brothers have been arrested for the Feb. 4 takeover-stylerobbery of the Eldorado Jewelry and Western Wear in downtown Round Lake. A woman clerk was stabbed in the neck and held for over an hour inside the store on Cedar Lake Road. Modesto Rico, 24, of Chicago, and Jose Rico, 37, of Round Lake, have both been charged with armed robbery and aggravated kidnapping.
